The title is this because I've always wanted to stay at this beautiful hotel and now I finally have the chance! It's value season, so things are cheaper; it's amazing! Most of my friends in Arizona think I'm talking about the Grand Canyon; they're so anti-Disney!

Some of you may know me as the girl who procrastinates, never finishes anything and always has the randomest updates.... Well, you've got me in a nutshell. I'm Dani and I'm 13, obsessed with Disney and obviously a procrastinator. Even there's 2 months and 7 days to wait out, it feels like we're going next year! I, for one am extremely excited. I noticed the Disneyland boards aren't very busy at the moment, so I thought I'd give a piece of interest to ya'll. I have a Macbook and it's bugging the heck our of me, because the writing was is going down to the second line when I'm on the first and it's hard to erase stuff. Oh well! Well, here's some details of our short-ish dance trip. Oh yeah... Did I mention it's a dance trip? Every year my dance school goes and performs at Disneyland. The last few years, it's been on the 3rd, but they changed it this year to a while after; don't know why, but it's really weird.
Anywho, let's get some details around the riverbend before we run the hidden pine trails of the forest or paint with all the colors of the wind!

Hotel: The Grand Californian
Length of stay: November 13th through the 16th
Tickets: 3 day parkhopper

Now that you've got the basics... How about.....drumroll please......

THE CAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most people actually like a little background about the people they're reading about, so here you go!

Me princess::)- A Dancer at heart. Loves Tinkerbelle and Belle. Also loves HSM and Camp Rock. Disney-lover all around and loves Kingdom Keepers Creative, stylish and smart. (Aka, she's going to be doing lots of homework on the plane because of her advanced classes, cough.)

Mommy :eeyore::)- Lovable, is like Eeyore and loves Eeyore. Hmmmm. She's a reader and plays Toontown (Forgot to mention I do too.) Still recouping from loss of VMK (I guess we have a lot in common!)

Dad:goofy: - Hmmmmm. Chernabog?? Meanie, old. But I still have to love him. Kinda funny, but still evil. Kidding, he's just a bit goofy.

Kind of cast: (People that I know will show up.)

Alyssa:cheer2: - Little miss Sleeping Beauty. Loves sleep, dancing and eating. This 10 year old is still a cutie though :) She's like a little sis to me.

Looking for one post? Just find it here :)

Quick Topics:
What does AP mean to you?

It is. I've done it for the past 2 years and I'd never regret it.
Congrats about your own trip :):)
YAY! Be sure to tell me how the dining works out, we may try it out!

What does AP mean to you?

I got the best word today... We got annual passes!!!! So, I get to get my Disney magazine again! (Kind of miraculous that I'm not as happy to be able to go to DL whenever I want, but that I get the magazine, haha. The magazine IS amazing, though.) I'm still pretty excited, because now that we have the APs, we get to go next summer as well, who knows, maybe even spring break or 3 day weekends. Stay at the Best Western, have fun... YAY!!! I'm just so over-excited that I can't get to sleep!

66 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How exciting! I've heard of different groups going to perform there. Where do you get to perform exactly? And you get to stay at the GCH? To totally cool. :cool1: I hope my daughter and I get the chance to do that someday.

Well, we get to perform at California Adventure by the Aladdin Theatre on the outside stage over there. And we have to buy tickets and room accommodations for ourselves and my parents finally came around for GCH!!

What Disney Magazine? You are talking about "Backstage Pass"? "Disney Magazine" is long gone!

You might want to see if the the mods can move this to the trip report section. You might get more readers over there.

That sounds so fun! I always wanted to dance back when I was young :rotfl: but I was very clumsy - actually I still am clumsy and now I am old too.... :lmao:

What kind of dance do you do?

What kind of dance do you do?

I do tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical and modern. Sometimes hiphop. But we're performing tap and jazz.

DANI!!! I'm here. Sorry I'm so late!

You're so lucky you get to go to DL. Especially to dance. When I was in ballet and tap (around, oh, three or four years old :rolleyes1 ) they announced the days they would be at Disneyland two days after I quit. :headache: I was a Disney-obsessor all the way back then too. I don't even think that RM does a Disneyland dance thing either, which really stinks cuz that would actually make me KEEP my dance class next year. Oh, well. Who cares if I can move on to intermediate or advanced anyway?

We (okay, I) am hoping to go to DL for a short weekend in December--nothing's more magical than Disney at Christmas.:santa: But the chances of that are zilch to none.

Not too late ;)
Nice, I'm so excited! Dancing there seems like nothing to me, but when you really think about it, it's an amazing chance! That'd be so exciting if you got to go to Disneyland, especially since The Year Of A Million Dreams stops this year! Did you win any dream prizes at WDW?
- Dani, hope you make it to the land!

awsome about the ap hehe how cool
I know, I'm so incredibly excited!

Thanks for sticking with me guys!
I think I'm going to celebrate my birthday again this year, or we'll be normal. What do you think?

Well, we won free PARKING one day at the Magic Kingdom (doesn't sound like much but saved us enough money that we could afford to eat that evening:rotfl2: ) I so want to end my year with a BANG and go to Disneyland or WDW but with the economy...

If only your birthday was after January when you get get free entrance to Disneyland and stay a few extra days with your AP. Well...you could always do it NEXT year. :rolleyes1
It's too bad mine is during the school year or else I'd totally go! But the whole perfect attendance thing.
Speaking of school...I should probably start on homework. This is my first time on the DIS for the last few days and I should be writing my 3 essays instead.
