Grand Californian - One Bedroom Suite Recommendations

Hello! I booked a one-bedroom suite at GCH for my daughter's upcoming 6th birthday. I'm hoping to get some recommendations for the best room to request. I've requested club level access (which, if I'm not mistaken, can't be guaranteed until check in?) so a location close to the lounge and quiet is preferable. Thanks in advance for helping a newbie to the board!

I'm NOT an expert on GCH suites, but I'll tell you as much as I know.

Yes, being on the club floor would be ideal. Also, the closer you are to the club (which means close access to an elevator), the better--either the Napa Rose elevators or the main elevators would be great. Those rooms near the lounge and main elevators are usually in high demand. If you're on the floor below, that's fine, too.

I've only stayed in a 2-br suite. My sister and I had booked 2 rooms but they gave us a 2-br suite when they saw that we were bringing my adult nephew who had only recently been released from a months-long stay in a burn ward plus my adult son. It was a seriously awesome gift to us. The suite we were given was like 2 regular rooms on either side of a central living area. I'm guessing that a 1-br suite would just not include the extra room/bath but I don't really know. Hopefully you'll have at least 1 1/2 bathrooms.
