My DH and I will soon be staying at the Grand Californian using DVC points. I called the Grand Californian today to find out ticket prices for the hopper passes that allow entry into both DL and DCA on the same day.

On site resort guests at the 3 DL hotels (including when using DVC points for the reservation) can purchase hopper type passes that will allow you to enter both parks during a given day. The following are the prices I was quoted:

2 day hopper: $91 adult ; $71 child (age 3-9)
3 day hopper: $116 adult ; $92 child

Hope this helps others planning trips to DL and DCA.

We are going on points too. As usual, different answers depending who you talk to. I got the following info:
One and two days not available.
3 day hopper Adult $111 and child $87
4 day hopper Adult $137 amd child $107
5 day hopper Adult $163 and child $128
6 day hopper Adult $185 and child $145
We lucked out as we will be in sunny southern CA for 15 days and got the two park annual passes for $189 each!!! We will be doing alot of other things but can come and go as we please. We even have a real good excuse to go back in the next 360 days and we live over 3000 miles away! (note - I was told thaat no more than a six day hopper is even available.)

thanks for the info.....just what we wanted to know for our trip out there in may...

the cost is the same as you would pay for a 4 day "passport" (4 day hopper price) but that does not allow park hopping.....like the idea of park hopping ....and all tickets out there seem to expire .......not like at disney world...

when are you going out niagara....we got southwest out of buffalo for our flights at $158 r/t (thru phoenix) during the january sale

post script....

did you think to ask if there is an additional charge for parking for guests staying at the "DL Resort" hotels.....heard at one time it was 10$ per day......hope that is not true and they provide free parking like they do at WDW.....(staying there on points too)

At the Grand Californian there was no charge of parking in February. We decided to try valet parking and were charged $6.00 per 24 hour period. :D
