Grand Californian AND Disneyland Hotel

Question! So my family and I will be staying for 5 nights at Disneyland in October (3 nights at Grand 2 at DH). The day we switch hotels will be a day we aren’t going into the parks but enjoying the amenities of the hotels. If we check out of one hotel, can we still use the pool for that day while we wait for our room to be ready at the other hotel? Will the hotel hold our luggage for us since we won’t have a room for a few hours in the middle of the day? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, you have full resort privileges all day of check out and check in days even if you do not yet have your room....so once you check in you could use either pool that transition day.

Bell services will hold your bags at all three resort hotels until your room is ready.

When I checked out of the DLH I had to get a pool key from the front desk as my room key no longer worked. Not sure if it is the same for GCH.

That is correct. They will give you a pool key for your checkout day.
