Grand California Villas

Just received phone call from my DVC sales agent that the Grand Villas will go on sale this week. Pricing is $112 per point. A $5 per point discount is available with purchases of 100 points or more. Other incentives also are available such as free week at either Disneyland Resort or Disney World resort with 100 point purchase. They are beautiful units, i've toured them several times.

I believe the first 60 days of sales are only to founding members, those who originally bought DVC at Disneyland.

ok i change the title. i can't decide if i want to add on at gcv or not because i live so close to Disneyland. i only go to Disneyland for the day and vacation at wdw.

The word is sometime in November 2009. I'm thinking it might be a challenge to reserve there at the 7 month mark - especially for the first year or two. There are only 48 2 bedroom units and if I recall correctly only some of those are lock off units.

It is rumored that MS will actually start taking reservations from VGC owners in Summer 2008. I don't know what when the window for non-owners will open up.

NOTE: They have reallocated points starting in 2010.
