Hi there..we just booked at 1bedroom unit at Grand California from Dec. 28-Jan. 1st.

Does anyone have pixs they can share..there will be 5 of us...parents, us and my son who is 13. The description says a pull down bed..which I assume my son will use. What exactly is that?

Anyone have photos? Reviews of the resort...pools..dining?

Will the weather be warm enough to swim??

We are going because my son's high school marching band is marching in the Tournament of Roses Parade!!!!!! They are also marching in disney as part of their package!!! So we are staying here to use points and will drive up to Pasadena for the parade!!!

We are booked in a 1br in November at the Grand Cal. The location is hard to beat. I don't have any photos right now, but there are some on Allears and here on the dis.

There is a twin sized murphy bed in the TV armoire that pulls down. My daughter slept on that instead of the couch on our trip earlier this month. She loved it.

Prepared to be shocked at how nice the GCV are compared to the WDW DVC. Upgraded bathroom amenities, robes in the closet, large accommodations, etc. They aren't OKW 1BR large, but our 1BR seemed larger than a BCV 1BR. I absolutely loved my DVC visit to GCV, and now I wish it wasn't so far away so I could stay there more often.

VGC also have 2 bathrooms in the 1 bedroom units.
