We are planning a trip to DL in either March or June 2001.
We have stayed at the Poly Conc. and at the Swan Club Level this past year and are considering staying at the Concerige in the GC.
Has anyone stayed there before?? What and when are the food offerings??? Should we take the park view or is a garden view ok??? The D club rate for March was $ 370 per nite. Does this sound right?? Has anyone seen any other special offers...
Thanks so much. Maureen

I didn't stay in concierge, but I met a woman at the pool who did. Concierge rooms are on the 6th floor of the GC. The 6th floor can only be accessed with a room key in the elevator. The woman I met was a little disappointed with the service in the lounge. She waited 45 minutes for 2 glasses of wine. She said the evening food was poor - cheese, crackers and vegetables. This service was on a Saturday night when the entire hotel was booked. She also mentioned that breakfast was much better. She told me that next time she would stay non-concierge and use the difference in money to have a nice dinner at Napa Rose.

P.S. I stayed in a standard room and had the same view she did for $200 less per night.
