Animal Kingdom Continued...
We headed to Everest with a wait of maybe 15 minutes. It was a great ride, and we almost went on it again, but decided to trek on over to Dinosaur.

The wait time for Dinosaur was 30 minutes, we waited that, and honestly we both hated the ride. It was bumpy, jumpy, and just blah.
Here's a little flashback...2007 vs 2021 (Since there were no character meet and greets, this had to do).

Once we were done, we decided to head out of the park for the day. We decided to skip Avatarland altogether. Neither one of us were huge fans of the movie, and while the pictures all look so pretty there, we just didn’t have it in us to stand in line to wait for the rides or deal with the crowds.
So, at 1:30 we headed back to the car and then back to the hotel. We were in the room for maybe 10 minutes when the sky opened up and it poured for a good 2 hours. We both took showers and naps, and then once up, we headed out to grab some dinner at Chick-fil-A and Publix to pick up some more water and Body Armour.
Both my daughter and I did not enjoy Animal Kingdom at all. For me, the bumpy sidewalks did not help my plantar fasciitis and weak ankles to walk on. For my daughter, the heat and crowds got to her. I had thought about going back in the evening, especially after the rain had ended and had cooled things off a bit, but the lines were still showing long waits, so we skipped it and just stayed in. I think we both needed a half day to be able to rest and have some down time, which was nice.
