Graduation Ears

My friends and I are leaving in 8 days for WDW!! Anyways my one friend and I just graduated from college and I would really like to buy the Mickey graduation ears for us to wear. For anyone who's been there recently, have you seen them around? If so, where can they be found? Thanks!

Congratulations to you as well! I already saw a post back in April that Graduation Ears were out, but I'd really like to know if they'll still be available when we leave next week. I also don't know if you can find them anywhere, or if there are only a few places we can find them. I'd really like to buy them our first day and I really don't want to have to hunt them down. So if anyone who's been to WDW recently and knows where they can be found, I'd really appreciate it!

There are actually two different varieties available. The easiest to find are the traditional beanie type graduation ears. They are available in the theme parks, resort shops and DTD. I've also seen some of the more expensive variety, but not as often. They are made like a real mortorboard only they have soft fuzzy Mickey ears and they light up. I saw a few of those at DTD. They are the ones left over from Grad Nights.

We were checking them out for our upcoming trip with FSIL who just graduated from High School. I've also seen the two versions, like Feralpig said, one with the regular motorboard and fuzzy Mickey ears, but it also has little led lights in the front and a lace up string in the back to adjust size. We saw these yesterday at DTD and MGM. Unfortunately this one is REALLY heavy. We tried it on when considering it for FSIL and it really weighed our head down. It was 22 dollars I think.

There is another version, looks kind of like a hershey kiss with a tiny graduation hat on top of the point. It has the Mickey ears on either side of the base of the "kiss" and has 2006 on the back of the hat. We think it looks rather odd. I have NOT seen these in stores, only on peoples head, but we only went to DTD and MGM yesterday. We'll be at Epcot this afternoon, I can check to see if they also have them.

I saw them in stores and I just got back home yesterday. They also have a mickey head wearing a mortarboard antenna topper! i got one for my cousin who is graduating HS in May. It is cute!

I've seen a TON of them at DTD, and pretty much every shop at MGM that had hats yesterday.

I bought one for my DS 2 weeks ago in MK at the hat shop as you enter the park. It costs about $14 and for $2 they will embroider your name. The hat already has 2006 embroidered on it. It has a very small mortar board between the ears.
I saw the $22 hat at ASMu gift shop. It lights up, has a large mortar board and is very heavy.

Was wondering if anyone could update the availability of graduation stuff and what sort of things are around. We're going in june after i graduate. Does anyone know from previous years how long the stuff is usually around for? I thought we had got one for my sister 2 years ago from DTD but mayb it was an outlet. BTW congrats to every1 on the board who's graduating this year

These are the ears from last year. We bought my brother and his girlfriend them, and they loved them!

They lit up but they were heavy.

We got them in the downtown disney store.
