Grad Nights?

What exactly are Grad Nights? I'm assuming they are for HS?
Can anyone explain them and how it impacts parks other than closing earlier?

Grad nights are for high school seniors. The park stays open at night just for them. It does not impact the park at all since they arrive after all the guests have left.

Jennifer is correct. DL will close at 9pm on grad nights. It won't effect the crowds at all during the day since they bus them in long after closing.

All I know is they've been doing it for awhile because my parents had their grad nights there in the 60's.
