Is there a graduation night or weekend at Universal? Is it always the same week-end? Is there any place I can find out. Where can I find the hours for Universal?
Thanks.

I'm glad someone asked the question because I've been trying unsuccessfully to get info on this for quite a while. I called the 1-800-YOUTH-15 and got a paint store. I may have misdialed but the guy sounded so mad that I was afraid to try it again.
I was reading one website that said once your kid is there they lock the gates and they can only get out early if it has been pre-arranged in writing?
It looks like one can not attend unless it is in a group with a chaperone? I'm trying to find out if my son and a friend can pay the $36 each and go to this 7pm-2am event? Is there an AP discount? Since Chris Brown is one of the entertainers my DD12 is having a meltdown. She has no less than 12 posters of him on her walls. Any way to sneak a 12 y.o. in?

Sounds like a lot of fun for the kids but I don't think I want to be anywhere near!
I just checked and it IS the weekend I was going - I'll have to change my plans. Oh well, Im just glad I found out before. (we have never been to Orlando any other month than July - this is a special birthday trip - wish me luck)

From what I have been told, you must go with the school group. You cannot purchase tickets on your own. Also, there are no AP discounts. When my son's graduating class went in 2004 he had to pay the full $75 per ticket to the school. That included the school's bus, admission to IOA & a "party" at CityWalk. They were going up & back together on the bus, the students were not allowed to drive their cars, or go with anyone but the school. They must dress proper (not as proper as Disney..they do not allow jeans!). I can't see how the kids can be locked in to the park though? Maybe they are only allowed out with the school they came with. There are several different high schools that go at the same time. The good majority of them are from FL. I know my daughter's graduating class is going this year, but I am not sure if she wants to go.

It is the weekend we will be there too, but we are not changing plans. We have been there before for Grad Nights. It is not big deal. We are done in the parks by 4 and by 7 we are usually well into a Martini. Since it is a ticketed event for the evening, I really do not think it will have much of an impact if at all on our trip.

From what I've read the only disruption would be if you would want to go to CityWalk one of the 2 nights that most of it will be roped off with access only to the kids. The "good" side is that most people are trying to avoid USO that weekend so during the day it should be fairly slow.

AMickeyfan- If your daughter wants to go but not with her class ...PM me.
