grad bash ??

We will be at Universal from 4/17 through 4/23 and we are staying at the HRH. I just read that grad bash is 4/20-21. What effect does that have on those not attending GB. Should we plan on going to Busch gardens and SeaWorld those days? Does it affect the on-site resorts, pools and CityWalk as well?

Grad Bash is an after hours event that runs from 7pm-2am so I don't think you'll see too much impact. It's kind of like HHN in the fact that the parks close and then re-open for the evening event. You might see lots of people at CityWalk trying to eat but other than foot traffic you should be fine during the day.

It won't have any effect during the day, because the kids are bussed in from far away like South Florida. It just means you'll see a bunch of kids walking thru City Walk.
I'd eat at the Kitchen that night and hang out at the pool.

Grad Bash has some affect on regular park goers. Last year we queued up for GB near NBA City and those leaving US had to turn around and walk all the way back around the boat basin to get to CityWalk.
We stayed on-site and the hotel (PBH) was not affected at all. CityWalk will not be affected after 8 because once the kids are let into IOA they shut and lock the doors until 2. At 2 they load the buses and all is over.
