Inspired by the information in this thread, I ordered a Garmin FR 10 last week and used it for the first time yesterday. I'm in love! It was very easy to figure out and showed the two bits of information that I was most interested in, time and distance, in nice big numbers on the first screen. I appreciate the lack of bells and whistles, as I am automatically skeptical of the New. I charged it all the way before I went out and it still had more than half of the battery power when I got back in 2 1/4 hours later. It does take a couple of minutes to acquire the satellite signal, which is good to know so that I just need to be sure to put it on several minutes before I begin my workout.
Thanks again for asking the question, OP!
