Gourmet Cupcake store coming to DTD .. Sprinkles Cupcakes

The article on the Dis says early November for an opening date. I hope that's true!! I've always wanted to try their cupcakes! How am I supposed to concentrate at work now.... :yay:

Boo :( I don't like their cupcakes at all! I am surprised a cupcake shop is even going in when there are so many yummy treats available in the parks.

That's what we were thinking. There's soooo many treats we love to eat we will wait and eat them in the parks. My husband said "Do they have a Matterhorn Macaroon? No. Then I'm not going!" lol

Although if you are just visiting DTD and not entering the parks I suppose it's a good thing. :scratchin

I've never tried Sprinkles but if I'm just visiting DTD (which I do occasionally), I get my treats from Marceline's (lots of great choices) and Earl of Sandwich (brownie whoopie pies). I'll probably try Sprinkles at some point, but I'm pretty picky when it comes to cupcakes.

Well I, for one, am pretty stoked about this. I'll finally be able to get a gluten free cupcake at Disney! Sprinkles also caters for other allergies too, from what I hear. So a big 'YAY' from me!

I've been to the one in Vegas, only tried an ice cream cookie sandwich and I must say it was delicious! I think we had salted caramel ice cream between chocolate chip cookies.

I am drooling just thinking about that! We had the salted caramel cupcake "sandwich" at WDW this last summer! Delicious!!
I am super excited and bummed at the same time. Bummed because we leave Nov 1st and it won't be open by then. When we were at WDW we went to Disney Springs like 4 times for treats from there. But excited for the next time we're there. Yes, there are lots of yummy treats in the parks, but sometimes I just want something on the way back to the room and that would definitely hit the spot!!

Where is it? On the strip? We're headed to Vegas in November and a salted caramel ice cream cookie sandwich sounds like something I might have to search out!!

It's at The Linq, located outside in the promenade so accessible from the strip.

I'll be there 11/5 and 11/6 so likely going to miss out also. Guess I'll just have to settle for beignets from Ralph's, on darn lol!!!

I'm really surprised that cupcake places stay in business. I'm not sure how they have that many people getting cupcakes to make it a profitable business. But I guess they do.

Their gluten free red velvet cupcake is to die for! I'm excited about it too.

GF Cupcakes???? Well I guess this just made it to our menu. At least to my wife's. I can send her there while I polish off about 10 beignets. Then I won't feel nearly as bad!

Yes! Their gf cupcake flavors rotate and the only one I've tried is red velvet, but it was delicious. They also have gf chocolate chip cookies that are to die for.
