have so much fun! how long is the drive?

It's about 2.5 to 3 hours. We're actually home already. The ride there was fine. The ride back was awful! It was POURING...like, you can't see in front of you pouring. We were in Joe's car. I tried to sleep because I was getting nervous being on the road in that.

We had a nice visit. It's been quite a while since we've seen his dad.

I know! Can you believe it? I was telling Joe that hopefully this time next week we'll be sitting in Jellyrolls with Liesa having a drink. I've never been there before and I know we talked about possibly going there the day after we meet for Illuminations.

Mom is already packed and ready to go. She told me the other day that she's ready to bring her suitcases to the front door so that they are ready.

This does not surprise me. She breaks out her house keys the moment she gets into the car. There could be a 3 hour car ride ahead of her but she'll have her house keys in her hands...I had to have been adopted..lol.

I am hoping that my brother doesn't pack like my sister!

No worries there. I already have my electronics packed (camera, laptop, gameboy, iPod) as well as the various cables and chargers. I already know what I'm packing clothes wise. I don't have a ton of shorts I can pack so I'll probably pick up a pair or two while at Disney. I can't imagine needing more than that.

I'm starting to get excited about our trip now........

I can really use a break from work right now so I'm looking forward to the trip as well.

I was checking out the TiW discounts for the places where we are paying out of pocket. It seems like just about every one of them takes the card.

I need to figure out how to go about renewing my card. In the past I was able to renew before we left and have it sent but last year, that didn't work. What I can't remember is if I just got it at the same time I turned our vouchers into passes or if I had to pre-order. For the life of me, I cannot remember.

I went to weigh in yesterday. Down another 1.4 so that's a good thing. I thought for sure I'd be up considering I have not written down a THING over the last 2 weeks! I am hoping that I will make "wise choices" while we're on vacation, but some how, I can't imagine being able to accomplish that.

I was at my mom's yesterday and she really is packed already! She told me that she was but yesterday I saw the suitcases sitting there ready to go! I'm jealous.

I have a fall trip booked too--we wanted to make sure we got a deal with FD too. I am wondering what the BB deal will be too. Part of me wonders if it will only be the room only discounts through the end of the year, especially since they have released FD already. I am still hoping they have a 40% code either as the BB or Disney visa deal because it would definitely be better for us. ixiedust:

It's easy to take hundreds of pictures at WS. I'm sure she'll cooperate with you. Just tell her that Mickey's watching and he wants her to have lots of pictures to look at when she gets home.

We end up using the bite stick every year. I think mostly because we're out at night. Either that or the bugs like us . I started packing it a couple of years ago when my nephew got bit pretty badly. He was younger and if I remember correctly, he got bit near the pool. I'd pack one just so you have it. THe first year that we needed one we didn't have one and had to go off site to get it.

It's funny, I take post card stamps and half the time I forget to mail the dang post cards until the very last day.

Nope, never been to the Wave before. that is the perfect thing to say to DD--Mickey or the Princesses are watching, they want her to be good so she can earn a surprise at the end of the week. Of course I don't expect her to be perfect, that would not be realistic. I'm pretty good at recognizing signs of when it is getting to be too much so I hope that holds true in Disney.

Every pound is important and hard earned! Keep telling yourself that.
