First, I can't help on those dinner plans because we've never done anyt of those restaurants. I have had heard great things about all of them though.

Dinner tonight is going to be at The Maya Grill. Joe really, really liked it here last year when we stayed at CSR.

Before dinner though we are meeting Kathy and Mark (KatMark) :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:. We're meeting at the Laguna Bar at CSR. Joe and I are excited to get to meet them both. :yay::yay:

I :love::love: your Day 10 plans, especially the evening portion. ;) Mark and I are so looking forward to meeting you and Joe.

Day 11 - Ugh, I hate this day. :sad2:

We have a mid-afternoon flight so I think we will have time to go to a park. Right now, I think we're going to DHS. If so, we will great breakfast at Starring Rolls before we head to DHS or we will go to DTD and have breakfast at Earl before heading to DHS.

If we don't go to DHS, we will undoubtedly go to MK. I love ending our stay at MK but what I don't like is how long it takes to get out of the park. My thought though is that if we end at MK, we will take the boat over and the boat back. We can then get in the car there at the resort instead of having to take the monorail and then a tram back to the car from the MK parking lot.

So, what do you think? Which park should we end our stay with?

I'd love to hear your comments and suggestions on our plans.

I hate that last day too. We always end our trip at the MK with lunch at the Plaza.

Oh, you arenj't talkijng to yourself....I've been busy trying to catch up on all of my subscribed threads. Your packing list sounds great...I can't think of anything you've forgotten.

Wow, your pictures have made me super excited! I can't wait to see all those wonderful places again!

Excellent packing list! Couldn't think of one thing that was missing!! I added Weight Watchers snacks to my list now.....thanks for the reminder:hug:

So, I left off at Day 9 -- dinner plans.

Guess what? I am still clueless. No plans. Zip. I really want to stay at MK until they close at 7. We can really go anywhere for dinner since it will still be early. I have a couple of suggestions and want to know what you guys think since I need to get my ADR made. So, here they are:

1. Kona - we have never done dinner at Kona and I really want to try it.
2. Kouzzina - I really would like my cousin to experience Kouzzina -- we're going there earlier in the trip though.
3. Earl - well, need I say more?
4. The Wave - never been there either

Any suggestions? Comments? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where we spend the rest of the evening will depend on where we decide upon for dinner.

I vote Kona as we loved our dinners there, am sad that we won't be doing it this year. Also you'll be at the Poly too and could always try to catch the fireworks from the beach afterwards?

I vote MK as its where it all started and where it should all end :goodvibes (if that makes sense).

I don't know if I mentioned this, but we finally got our Mickey Mail. :woohoo:

Question: Did the tags change this year? I can't remember what they looked like last year?

Also, what do you all think about the new coupons? I don't know if I like them. They seem larger and bulky or something. :confused3

:yay: for Mickey Mail. You guys get it presented in a different way then we do over here in the UK, also we don't get ME tags anymore :(

Day 10 sounds great and you get to meet up with the wonderful Kathy and Mark :goodvibes

Maybe you should check with Paula and see what she wants to do for dinner. If she wants to do Greek then we can go to Kouzzina. I don't think anyone would mind. If not, Kona sounds good.

Kathy, I still haven't decided on dinner but I've wondered what the Plaza is like.

I always worry about the packing list. I fear that I will forget something and it won't be something that I can find on property.

I vote Kona as we loved our dinners there, am sad that we won't be doing it this year. Also you'll be at the Poly too and could always try to catch the fireworks from the beach afterwards?

Good ideas, Stef :thumbsup2

I wonder why you don't get ME tags anymore? We are not using ME but we still got tags.

That's an idea. I will check with her to see what she wants to do. I sorta want to do Kona, but I just don't know.

Well, I did it. I booked for next year at WL. :yay:

I was worried that we wouldn't have a bounceback offer in our room this year. :confused3

What I REALLY want to do though is wait to see if an AP rate comes out (hopefully April/May/June) for 40% off. If it does, I will scrap my current ressie with free dining and change the resort to the Poly. :thumbsup2

I did the Mickey Math and should the code come out, we will do better staying at the Poly with room only, paying for the dining plan and using TIW for the few out of pocket meals. The price is around the same but we'd be at the Poly instead of WL and I have ALWAYS wanted to stay there.

YAY!!!

I feel the same way. I am worried that there will not be a BB offer in the room when we get there so I figured...what the heck. Just do it now! :dance3:

I'm still driving Joe nuts I think about wanting to get the suitcases down from the attic and doing real packing now. Yeah, I know it's early but I want to!!! Mom is already packed and ready to go. She told me the other day that she's ready to bring her suitcases to the front door so that they are ready. :lmao:

My sister will undoubtedly still be doing laundry while they are waiting for their cab to the airport. :rolleyes1

I am hoping that my brother doesn't pack like my sister! :scared1:

Plans for the weekend

We're heading to visit Joe's dad for the day today so I won't be able to do much planning. I am though going to take my binder with me and start to make a list of notes for things to be done over the next week or so. I can think of a few things that I need to do:

1. Call and confirm the Wishes Cruise - they ask that you confirm 2 weeks in advance.

2. Call about the specialty cake and give them the new ressie number since they have the old one linked to the order.

3. Log in and get final confirmation of ADR's.

4. Make final ADR for a dinner on the day that we just changed around.

I have notes scattered all over the dang place and I need to get them organized. I hope to do this on Sunday.

I've got to get the rest of my laminating finished too. I may save that for next weekend when I do all of my binder updates.

I'm starting to get excited about our trip now........ :yay::yay:

Hope you have a great day :)

I get why you want to pack now, makes it that much more closer :)

Good Luck with your To Do List, hope you get everything ticked off pretty quickly :)
