Got myself so organized it's scary!

Yes, this past week I worked on getting all my scrapbook supplies completely organized and it feels good! All my scraps, papers, embellishments,etc all now have their proper places in my station area. It was also good to do this to see what all I really have and what I use. I think there are things I buy that are kind of a waste and this brought me back to reality. Maybe now I won't buy supplies that I won't really use that often. Ok, maybe it won't help . . .but I can dream!

Good for you! I love having my scrapbook room all organized, I dod find that I buy less when I have everything in its place, I don't buy something that I've forgotten I already had that way! I use lots of my paper scraps now that I wouldn't have used before since I have the scraps filed by color in a big file box (each color in a different file). That saves lots of money on paper!

I go on "organizational" binges, and get everything in its rightful place, then some where along the line it goes amuck again but I'm in good shape, I just did another reorganization evening, and I can now put my hands on what I want/need at any given time!

I'm almost there . Now if one of my kids would just move out so that I can have a room instead of in front of my diningroom window !

That's funny! My oldest left home 3 years ago, and yes, I took over a portion of that room to keep my scrapping "ready to go" at any time! Well, because of work issues and relocation issues, they might be coming back to stay with us for a short time, but I WILL NOT give up my scrapping place, they will just have to sleep in my scrapping quarters, not now seen as their "previous" bedroom!

I think we all have to take some time to organize all or parts of our supplies from time to time. And how we organize probably changes.

I know when I was first getting serious about this I had a series of the 2 gallon ziploc bags holding stickers, paper, etc. Then I added a multi drawer cabinet - the sort you get at the office supply or discount store. This weekend as I transitioned my workspace back into a scrap area I picked up a number of paper holders (the envelope style) at my LSS and had to spend some time sorting paper.
