A MUST HAVE for those who love eyelets but hate:

At first I thought it stunk - then I realized I had the wrong size piece in

It comes with all the pieces you need in a nice case and it is sooo easy to use! and you don't hear a thing!
Takes about as much pressure as a sizzix original or a quikutz!

Now I will use up some of the thousands of eyelets I had to have - then never use cuz I scrap when everyone is sleeping!

I got one for christmas and I generally love it- It doesnt set the harder metal ones (ie Making Memories) ones as well so ya still hafta bang for those but it does eliminate a bunch of it

Does anyone know how the silent setter compairs to the click-it? The price between the two is fairly big...16.99-20.00 compaired to close to 40.00.

And a previous posted said it dosn't set the making memories eyelets well??? How much harder is it..or will they just not set?

I've been waiting to get the Click-it...but our local craft store still has it on order?..But then I saw the PC silent setter add in a scrap mag not to long ago...I didn't realize until just now the price diffrence was sooo great. I'd like to hear more about each one, before I make my purchase.

I wouldn't buy clikit thought is was too much - would rather make noise -
that was the big factor for me -
and when i read all the great reviews onthe silent setter I went for it and I LOVE it - I haven't had any problems yet with 'harder eyelets' and I have used a bunch from my stash now. I haven't even touched the ones they give you with it

I have the silent setter and have had trouble with the eyelets that I bought at Joanns... I thought they were store brand, but maybe they were Making Memories... It sets the sample ones that come with the tool just fine, though! So I guess I have to search for softer eyelets. Love the noise-free setting though! And it takes no effort at all!

I know Doodlebug ones work really well but I can never get the MMemories ones (atleast red and mustard gold) to work unless I really really press hard
