My husband thinks I'm such a dork! I spent half the day looking through it oohing and ahhhing over it. I just wanted to share my excitement (over a planning book) with people who would understand!

You're not alone. I upgraded to the deluxe version after my first one a couple of years ago. I've had my new one for a couple of months & have been planning away. It's great to have the color maps & the pockets are so great!!! Have fun planning!:wizard:

I buy one every year!! I save my money in the pockets for each day, one day at a time, when the big day gets here we can stay for the total days saved!! I copy the park maps multiple times, give the kids highlighters and they mark their favorite rides, and plan their own routes on the 14 hour car ride!

We are going for the first time in 10 days, 9 sleeps. :yay: A friend recommended the passporter, so I bought one. I love it! It keeps everything organized and the maps are great! :thumbsup2

What is a passporter and where do you get it???:)

It is a coil book that outlines everything you need to know about Disney. Very handy as it also has a section to plan your trip. It has several pockets to hold your documents and any notes that you make. A great way to stay organized. I bought mine at Coles Book Store. I live in a smaller community so they had to order it in. It took less than a week for it to come in. Google Disney passporter and you can see what the book looks like. Perfect size to put into your backpack or fanny pack to take to parks. Full colour maps and highlights the various attractions and also provides sample park tours.

Exciting, right? I love the Passporter. My DH had gotten me the 2007 Birmbaum's Guide and the 2007 Unofficial Guide for Christmas, but then I decided I *had* to have a new 2007 one, too! I love all the planning pages and get giddy adding info to it.

ENJOY! :wizard:

Thanks i'm going to check it out. Something else for my DH to roll his eyes at. I have an illness and its called disneyitis.:rotfl2:

I love my passporter. I got mine last week.

Is the Deluxe version worth the extra? I just had the plain for my last trip. Didn't know if I needed to upgrade. :goodvibes
My husband used to tease me about all the guide and all the time I spent on the DIS. We got to Disney and everything went so smooth, due to all the planning. Now he never says a word when I'm surfing disney!:woohoo:

I love my passporter to. I had one for our trip in 03 and it worked great. So of course I had to get one for this trip also. I love everything about it expecially the pockets. Plus it makes a great keepsake/journal of your trip.:goodvibes

mine is packed for our trip in four weeks with our tickets, cash, custom maps, plans, brochures....can't wait!!!

so I am convinced now that I do want this!

couple questions.

1. cheapest place to buy (passporter webstie and join forums and they have a deal/discout I heard?

2. Our trip is for January 2008 but I want to plan now, is 2007 Passporter okay to use or is it all going to be outdated (rates, menus and stuff??)

3. updates, where to get/buy them/ any thing online like that?

thanks for any info you have.

Oh my gosh, I'm SO in the Passporter Dork club!!! I LOVE my passporter!! This year's edition is great. It gets me in a Disney Zone to look at it!!! Plus it's very useful for planning.

Our husbands would starve to death and be LOST if it weren't for us and our devotion to the Passporter Dork Club!:cool1:

you can buy a clean one on ebay or a new older one from the passporter website ......

I love my Passporter! I wrote all my ADR confirmations in there and the pockets are packed with the maps from the parks that someone gave me, a list of places that take the DDP, and lots of other info.

I also love my "Unofficial Guide" and I read one or the other at least once a day. My DH thinks I'm nuts. LOL
