I finally got a CM willing to check things out and I told him LTT is usually open through the party so he kept looking into it.

Well, just like what happened last year, he didn't know he had to click on a drop down menu for "Special Events" and when he did, I had my choice of times between 5:00p and 9:00p.

The same for Tony's; I had my choice of times between 6:00p and 8:50p

:cool1: :cool1:

PS...tickets are now on sale too!!!

that's awesome!! I am assuming you'll be dining at LTT? Maybe we'll see you at the party!! :)

Oh, I forgot you'll be there that night at the Castle!

I actually haven't decided yet but I did book Tony's. I'm going to ask DH when he gets home and decide.

I found out because in my trying to get the tickets I first asked about LTT availability and that's when he discovered to drop down screen for 'special events' and told me both LTT and Tony's hours.

Then I asked to buy the tickets but he didn't know how. He was probably my 5th call!!

I'm so releived to have the tickets over with!

bump

Be sure and ask them to check the special events drop down screen if they say its all booked. Many CM do not know.

It's open till 9:00p.

I have had that 2 years in a row now. Last year the CM said she had been working there 15 years and never knew that this could be done.

This year the CM tried and tried and finally realized he had to reboot his computer :)

I know! Every year it's the same thing....you'd think they'd remember from the year before.

Thanks for the info! I called at 7:10 and got a 5:00 LTT on 9/29. I have been calling for weeks and have been told each time there was nothing available. I have been told for the last few years that once tickets are on sale for the events then more times open up. The CM's I got the last few weeks have said they know other times will be available soon but could not book until tickets were on sale. I tried to buy my tickets this morning but she said WDW has pulled them until Monday ...she tried to sale us the tickets.

See you all at the big MNSSHP!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought my MNSSHP party tickets last night and changed my dining today for both LTT and Tony's. Ltt on Sept 29 at 6pm and Tony's Oct 5 at 6pm.
:cool1: :yay: :yay: :thumbsup2

Can someone please explain what all the hype is about booking ADRs for LTT when attending MNSSHP? Is there something going on at that restaurant during the party as opposed to CP, CRT, or Tony's? This will be our first year attending this event...thanks for any help, you guys are the best!

It's this way every year for various reasons.

One being LTT is the only restaurant that the characters and CMs get into the spirit and the CMs wear make up like HM CMs and the characters wear eye masks and aprons that say "Boo" on them etc... and also only LTT (and now Tony's but some people still don't seem to know this) stay open through the party (till 9:00p) and that they both can be booked when purchasing tickets whether your 180 day has arrived or not.

All the other restaurants can be booked at 180 days and will take ADRs till 6:00p.

Last year was the first time Tony's stayed open during the party as well and the waitresses/waiters actualy did their faces up too to look like HM CMs.

Got LTT for 6 pm on the 15th apparently the tables are going very quickly, I called back an hour later to make it a bit earlier and the only other time for 2 was 4.20, a bit early!

Thank you for this info! It sounds like it would be fun to do LTT during the party, but we are just not very fond of the food served there. Is it worth it to go for the ambience and not really for the food?

Hey, I've eaten at many a places at WDW for the atmosphere and characters and NOT the food. I would just make sure my kids weren't starving as they don't like the food at LTT either.

I must say though that their salad dressing, butter (its sweet) and rolls are delicious. The atmosphere is nice and it's festive. And it's in a good location for when you are done.

I am eating at Tony's I think. LTT is great once but we're not crazy about the food.

if weve never been to MNSSHP would you use your valuable time eating at a restaurant or enjoying the park. We had planned to eat prior to the park closing.

Hi beatty! I always enjoy your posts...love your enthusiasm and willingness to help! :thumbsup2

I called and spoke to a CM at CRO anout my 180 days...and I also mentioned that when I DO buy my MNSSHP tix, I will be able to book LTT then, whether my 180 days has arrived or not. She said, "No, you have to wait until your 180 days." I said, "No, I went through this last year, there is a special screen you can go to to book LTT for MNSSHP when I purchase tix."

She was adamant that I was wrong and when I mentioned the DISboards she laughed and said there is a lot of misinformation in the internet. I didn't really want to argue with her as tix were not on sale yet anyway...it is just frustrating!

DH and I have decided we would rather dine at CP that night, like we did last year. I was REALLY IMPRESSED with their buffet! I am hoping for CP at 5 pm the night of my party. My 180 days from check in is Tuesday, May 2 so wish me luck!

 Thank you!

That's a bummer that you got a mis-informed CM. But I also prefer CP. I'd be eating there my party night if it weren't for the fact that my girls want to eat there for breakfast instead. So we're probably eating at Tony's.

I'm sure you'll have no problem getting CP at 180 days but within a month, I'll bet that restaurant will be filled up too!

This is why I love the DIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just called to buy our MVMCP tickets for Thursday Nov 30 (thanks to all for tipping me off to a reduced ticket cost by going during the week and not on Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!). I did have to prod the gentleman a touch to get them as he had just arrived. But he checked and I got my tickets!

He was, however, adament that I could not make an ADR until 180 days out, even after I mentioned the special event screen. So I simply hung up and called the dining number direct and asked that CM who said he wasn't sure, but checked and sure enough- I got my ressie for LTT on 11/30 at 5:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi! Call back- that's what I did and got my ressie with no problem! See my above post. Have fun!!!!

Thanks guys!

Beatty-I really want CP at 5 pm, party of 6. I am going to cross my fingers and toes that I get it. I am still waiting for my girlfriend to call me...we went to MNSSHP last year with her DH and their DD that is the same age as ours and we had such a great time. We want to repeat that experience (both our DDs are only children so we like them to experience these fun things with other kids) and she is finding out this weekend whether she can attend Oct 30 *OR* 31. I am *HOPING* she can do the Oct 30 as I am hoping it will be less crowded that Halloween (although I am sure it will be busy also.)

I have never done MVMCP but I feel I NEED to experience it. I am hoping this year also, although DD is already missing a lot of school for our Oct trip.

Ok, thanks for listening to me babble...I am just excited and cannot believe that it is SIX MONTHS AWAY! :sad2: I want to talk to SOMEONE about WDW...and all my friends are tired of listening to me, as that are not as obsessed as I am! That is why I am grateful for these boards! :cheer2:

Ok, I broke down and booked LTT for September 15 at 5:15pm for 2 adults. The CM asked me if I was going to MNSSHP that night and if I wanted to buy tickets as they were on sale right now. I told her we already bought our tickets yesterday. So that is another CM who knows what is going on. :smooth:

We would rather try the food at CP since we have never been there before, but I decided that we'd probably rather do that during lunch so we can enjoy that restaurant during daylight hours.
