Got Marriott World for $85 on Priceline

HI Everyone,

We're going down on March 12th and we're staying as part of the timeshare package with Marriott. We needed 3 more nights (March 16th - 18th) so I risked it and bid and got this Hotel. What a great deal! The going rate per night is over $200.

Has anyone stayed here on a PL bid? What can I expect.

Hi,

We stayed at the Marriott Orlando World in December, on a Priceline bid very much like your own <G>. We absolutely loved it. We stayed in the North Tower, and while I was originally a little miffed at not being in the 'main' section, it was so wonderful to have the parking right there at the door! We were on the 18th floor, with a beautiful view over Epcot, MGM and Pleasure Island. We saw fireworks every night from our balcony (did I mention that EVERY room has a balcony?). The room was nice and big, with a king sized bed and a pull out sofa, a small refrigerator and a nice sized closet. The pool was totally amazing - waterfalls, hot tubs, events and entertainment for the kids! The very best part was that this hotel is about 5 minutes from WDW, if that. I'm not kidding. Totally convenient to 4 and to all the other roads leading to shopping - I would stay there again in a minute.

We also received this hotel thru Pricline for $85 4-10 the Saturday before Easter. We needed a room for a night till our rental home was ready. Did you go to their web site and sign up for thier rewards card?

It looks like a nice place. There are some great reviews at Bidding for Travel

Great, thanks for the information. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a nice room, and view, however I know with the low price i've paid I have to expect that not to be the case. It's nice that every room has a balcony too!
