Well, after getting up at 3:45am PST yesterday trying to get Illuminations Cruise for July 4...I got up again, this morning to call again. (Boy, having a tough time at work today!)....I'm actually glad that I didn't get the cruise yesterday, since it was more costly ($450) due to the holiday....and then I read about the Wishes Cruise online yesterday....so this morning, I finally got through and got the last Wishes Cruise out of Poly for July 5!!! :cool1:

We did the Illuminations Cruise in 2000 out of BWV; how does the Wishes Cruise compare? We really liked the cruise in 2000, but thought it would be nice to see something different - Wishes. Is boat same? Where does it park to see Wishes, and is this only a fireworks show?

Lastly, I had booked Ohana's for dinner on July 4, in anticipation of watching the fireworks, but since we now have the cruise the next night July 5, I booked Ohana's for July 5, so we only have to go to Poly one night. However, I didn't know what time I should have dinner at Ohana's, in time before the cruise departs....any suggestions? I booked 5:50pm; hope that's enough time for dinner.

THANKS!

sorry...long message

I don't have anything to suggest, but knew you were trying hard for this, so CONGRATS! Good for you ;) :wizard:

Congrats on getting the cruise! We did Wishes last year and loved it. I haven't done an Illuminations cruise so have nothing to compare it to.

BTW..you are cruising on my birthday so remember me as you are watching! :flower:

Congrats!

I've only done the Wishes cruise so I can't compare it to Illuminations but I don't think you will be disappointed.

The cruise leaves out about 30/45 mins prior to Wishes start time (9pm?) so dinner would need to be finished by 8:10 and walk down to the marina. I think 5:50 is a perfect time for dinner at O'Hanas. You can always walk around the Poly if you have time to pass. Plus your PS's might not get you seated until say 6:15 and you don't want to have to rush.
