Got hooked renting?

I started out renting points, got hooked and now own. How many also got hooked renting and now own.

Yup that's me. I rented 2 studios for 2 nights each at OKW ( different trips), 1 studio at BWV 1 night, and 1 studio at BCV for 2 nights. My guide said I should have saved all that cash and just bought right away! It did help me know what I would be getting into! LOL!

Us too. We rented at BWV and knew this was the way we wanted to spend our vacations forever. LoL We bought into DVC within three months after checking out.

Us too - we rented once and even before we actually got there we bought!!!

Us too. Rented twice at OKW (from the same member) and joined on the second rental trip. We listed the member we rented from as a referral so she got the reward.

We were such newbies our first two trips we didn't even know about renting. We actually did the packages for Disney Institute & OKW through CRO. :sad

I finally happened to find DIS and rented on our third trip to WDW, great experience. Before our trip we started the process to purchase a resale contract. After our trip we added on points through Disney.

Count us in too! We rented twice at BCV, once at VWL and once at BWV before buying through resale at BCV! It took me that long to convince my DH. Now I am on and planning our first trip home this December!!!!

Same here. We rented points for a stay at OKW, then we joined (BWV) a month after we got home. DVC probably gets quite a few members this way. It sells itself.

Close...we did so much research we were pretty sure we'd buy into DVC, but rented a stay at the BWV before Thanksgiving one year and that was the last straw...
