Got BOG in May :)

Persistence pays off! May will be my DD's annual Birthday trip and our 3rd trip since BOG opened. I booked all our ADR's the day I made the reservations but BOG was still not available. I figured I'd just bite the bullet and try to do lunch one day but...I kept checking and low and behold, 8:20 was available on our final night! The kids were screaming with delight

I had to give up my 8:10 at Chef Mickey's (May 17th) if anybody is interested you could probably grab it.

Really Excited!!!

I've got an FP+ for lunch at BOG one of our MK days in April, but I'm really hoping to score a dinner ADR. Congrats to those who got them!

I didn't realize these ADR's were so hard to get? I managed to get an ADR for BOG in May at 7:30 and had other times available too. Do the amount of people in your party influence this? I only have two.

EDIT: Just went and checked for all our dates BOG dinner is completely booked! I guess I just got lucky on a whim of the moment decision!

BOG was the first one on my list when our 180+10 window opened up, but I keep hearing people can't get an ADR, so I'm always pleased to hear when people get one who've been trying a while!

Ate at BOG twice last May and we are eating there twice this year! Believe it or not, it is DH's favorite! Maybe has something to do with him being selected to play "the brave, tall, strong knight" in ETWB last year?!?!? .

I didn't think it would be this difficult either! We didn't book until around 155 days out, and apparently by then it's too late. I'm sure it doesn't help that I'm going in July AND I have a party of 5

I'm faithfully checking for now, and if it's a bust then I'll just get a FP for lunch, no biggie...I'd REALLY like to eat dinner there on our last day though!!!!

Yay! At our 180 day mark for our May trip there were no BoG reservations available. I checked multiple times daily for a few weeks and again, nothing. I checked randomly one morning (well after I had given up on dinner) and there were openings for all of our dates. It pays to keep checking!

Are you subscribed to the July Cancelled ADR thread on the Dining Reservations Board with instant email notification? I don't know if this is still happening but we went in November last year and at about 6-8 weeks before November 1st Disney released tons of ADRs for BOG and CRT. I think most of us that were subscribed to the thread were able to get ressies. From what I understand the bulk releasing of BOG ADRs at 6-8 weeks was pretty standard practice last year. Good luck!
