Got Bed Bugs?

Ok I have noticed a few comments on this forum about people getting to their room and checking their bed to find bed bugs! (ewwww)..I always thought you couldnt see bed bugs? Am I mistaken?? If I am, please tell me what they look like so I can check for them the next time I go...thanks. (shudders at the thought of them)

I did not read the link but basically you can pull the sheets up on the sides of the mattress and look in the piping along the mattress edge for dried blood like spots. Some spots will be pin head size and others will be bigger. The thing to consider is that bed bugs can get into furniture frames etc so sometimes you cannot easily detect them.

My husband travels all the time and I alway remind him to check the mattress before bringing his luggage in the room! EWWWWWWEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Trust me it makes me sick just thinking about germs and how some place and even people are so careless.... One thing that grosses me out is when people go to the washroom (aka restroom) and they don't wash their hands... I don't care if you just peed, wash your hands with water and that wonderful invention called soap....sorry I need to rant... The bed bug thing is not fun and I hope none of us ever encounter them.

Oh my goodness. That is got disturbing. My friend had them in her house, and told me what to look for. I have been checking my hotel rooms for years. BUT - I have never read about this or looked at pictures. That link shook me up. Thanks for posting. It is better to know than not know.

I haven't seen the other posts yet. These people are finding bed bugs on disney properties. Unfortunately, I guess it can happen anywhere.
