Got back yesterday.

Just read miss pickle's thread and agree with everything she said. First week was great, from Christmas Eve until day 2nd Jan was very busy. We were expecting that and got what we wanted done before that. I won't be going back at Christmas again, tho it was nice to see everything. Prefer less crowds and traffic.
We did ICE at Gaylord Palms on Christmas day. We enjoyed ICE. The dinner however in the restaurant wasn't great. It was buffet and was pretty poor, no potatoes, all the meat was cooked rare and overcooked asparagus for veg. Then they tried to charge for DD even though she didn't have anything to eat.
For those flying with Fly globespan from Glasgow they do stop at Belfast on the way and drop at Belfast first on the way back. Way out we flew business - great can't say enough about the cabin crew they were brill. Back was PE wasn't bad, we didn't get any food - we ate before we left. I didn't sleep because they left most of the lights on as most of the individual lights in PE weren't working.
So all in all we had a great time. Just got soaked twice and am now doing loads of washing even though I thought I'd got most of it done at the villa

We just got back as well and I agree - I am glad we went at Christmas but we won't go back as it was just too busy. We were told by a CM that they closed MK for 4 days in a row due to high capacity. We were collecting our car from the Car Care center near MK's gates on 28th Dec and the line of traffic trying to get in was unbelievable.

The weather was great with only two days of rain which meant we could spend a lot of the time by the pool.

We are flying flyglobespan in August and we are flying business class both ways - Did you use the airport lounge at Glasgow we understand that this is included in Business class at Orlando and Sanford but do not know if we need to pre-book it or just turn up on the day, and is there a seperate check in for business class .

We flew from Belfast but the girl at the check in desk gave us passes for the business lounge here in Belfast. Yes there is a separate check in for business and PE. HTH
