I got an email today that said it was from WDW resorts. It said they had recently obtained my email address and added it to their mailing list and if I did not want to receive emails from them.....Yea, Right! :rotfl: .... I could click on the enclosed link to remove myself from their list.

Just seemed a little odd, first because it said it was WDW RESORTS and because I have already been signed up for every Disney email possible for years.

Maybe this is something new? Or maybe they just want to make sure it's okay that they email me great resort discounts every couple weeks? :rotfl2:

Anyone else get the email?

Also.........I was sure bummin' too, cuz I thought it was a pin code!

My DH got one of those today as well and he is not signed up for anything Disney! Looks a little strange to me so we didn't click anything!

there is something about this on the community board, about it being fishy.... I would delete it.

I got it Thurs. a.m.??? It didn't say anything about letting them know that you want to be on the email list just if you didn't. I just left it alone.

Kelly :)

What is the link to the other posts? Thanks...my email actually said Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts so I don't know if that is different than the one that you are talking about.

I got one of those too. I remember a few months ago someone linked a site on one of the boards where you could sign up to get special offers from different companies and one of them was Disney. I know I signed up at that time and I assumed the email the other day had to do with that.

I was signing up for a coupon and it had some survey and I did pick Disney as one of the ones I was interested in! I never finished the whole survey so I didnt think anything went through. Feel much better now! Thanks!

I got that e-mail, too, with my name badly mangled. It just gave me a feeling that is wasn't quite right because I know Disney has my email address, I verified it for them when I booked this past summer's trip. I deleted it. :badpc:
