I called and booked ADR for the week of Sept 11-16 for a party of 7 with no problem. We are eating at Olivias, Ohana's, Boatwrights, and Teppanyaki. We had already booked the HoopDeeDoo for one night. I was able to get times right around 5-6. We will worry about lunches when we get there. I thought many places would be booked based on what I was reading on these boards but didn't have any trouble at all. :earsboy:

We are there the same week, I have mananged to make ADR's for the peek times for 'Ohana, Boma and V&A without and difficulty.

Not so lucky for 10/4 - 10/8 with five people. The only HoopDeeDoo available on the days we could go was 9:30P. WAY too late for my 6yo! I booked it, but will call every day and hope for a cancellation.

Couldn't get Le Cellier at all either. The CM first said he could put us on two separate tables, then said that we didn't meet the minimum size and it wouldn't allow him to book it. I booked Alfredo's instead, though I don't care for Italian food at all.

Also booked Tony's. We've never been there. Hope it's good.

I had no problems either with ADR for Sept. 9-19th. Maybe the crowds won't be so bad.

Redid all my PS/ADRs yesterday for 9/7-0/14 had no problem getting anything. This includes CRT and Le Cellier!

We will be there Sep 13 - 21! Some of our ADR's were easy and some we couldn't get.

Got:
50's Prime
Ohana
Rain Forest
Fulton
Coulnt' Get:
CRT
Crystal Palace for dinner

Last year was a piece of cake got everything. This year i'm finding I can get it at weird times, not close enough to a meal time. I'm thinking the free dinning has effected it but I can't complain I got most of what I wanted.

We booked our PSs at the end of May and did not have any problems.

9/2 Fantasmic package (H&V)
9/3 Akershus dinner
9/4 Donald's Restaurantosaurus breakfast
9/5 CRT breakfast
9/7 Crystal Palace breakfast
Chef Mickey's dinner

We have the dining option, so I wanted to book as many character meals as possible. We are also going to try to get in at Cap n' Jacks in DTD.

I heard that Le Cellier has no tables that seat 5. I dont know how correct the CM who told me this was but I also tried to book there for 5 and was told no there was no way I could do it. I think he said the went from tables of four to 8 nothing in between.

That is really odd. What do they do if a couple wants to dine? There must be seating for 2s. I guess it's the 3s that are a problem when we divide up?

We've eaten there and enjoyed it, but there were six of us.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I was planning to call every day for openings and even check when we got there. No use wasting my time if it's hopeless.

Thanks,

Sheila

Like I said I am not sure why or if that is 100% correct but I called more than once and finally gave up and went with the 50's prime time cafe. WHo knows lol.

It seems strange that a family of 5 cannot ever get an ADR. It makes sense that there are less tables available since many tables seat 4, but not allow it at all?? We have eaten many times at a table for 8 when there is only 6 or 7 people, why would they not allow this? We were planning on having a 3rd child, I can't let DH see this or he will tell me that we have to have 3 more just so we can make ADRs! :rotfl2:

We got most of our ADR. The only one I couldn't get was Mama Melrose.

We got:
Le Cellier
California Grill (DGM birthday celebration)
Coral Reef
Princess Storybook lunch (DD6 brithday celebration)
Kona Cafe
Teppanyaki
Blue Zoo (not on plan-but may give it a try anyway)

I'm thinking about trying for Spoodles and 50's Prime Time.

39 days and counting!

Difinitely try Blue Zoo. We absolutely loved it! We used the free kids club and the kids had a blast. We will definitely go back again sometime.

We have five (4 adults and DD8) at Le Cellier. I would call back if that is some place you really want.

I'm calling daily and also plan to ask when we get there. I also emailed DW. We'll see if I get any kind of an answer from them.

We have has absolutely no problem getting ADR for Sept. 7-12th. So far we are doing Boma, Marakesh, Chef Mickey's and CRT. My husband actually had 3 different CRT ADR's we ended up canceling two. Here's hoping this is a sign that there will be no lines :dog:

I am going from 9/24 to 10/2 and I did have 1 night that I couldn't book Le Cellier so I had to chose a different night (no biggie) I also booked Crystal Palace, California Grill and Teppenyanki with no problems

We are going the same week and I just got all my requested restaurants too.

We are going to:
CRT (lunch- breakfast wasn't available)
Coral Reef
Boma
California Grill

The last 3 are for dinner. I also figure we will worry about breakfast and lunches when we get there.

Le Cellier was the only place that I could not get PSs for dinner for our trip - and I only tried for one evening. I made a late lunch PS. Actually I could have made a PS for 8:10, but we want to see Illuminations and don't want to miss that because we are eating a three course meal. I may try again a time or 2 to see if we can get in for dinner, but if not, late lunch will be just fine. ::yes::
