Now what do I do... My mom passed away 3 years ago. The postcard came to my address but with her name on it. Does anyone know if I will be able to use this code. We are thinking about going in late August.

First I am sorry for the loss of your mother. Mine passed away 4 years ago. I would definitely call Disney and tell them your situation and hopefully they can do something for you. Please let us know if they could.

Good luck!

Denise

I think Disney should honor it! It would be a good gesture in honor of you mom! JMHO

My understanding is that if the address and most of the info matches Disney will honor it. But things have been so confusing this week that the only way to know for sure is to call the number on the offer.

I received a postcard on Tuesday and it was addressed to my stepmom's name at my address (they went on a trip with us in January 2004). They allowed me to use the postcard (the 40% off one) for my December trip. In fact, I never even brought up that my stepmom's name was on it. All I said was that I got a postcard addressed to my house and I wanted to check availablity. She did ask me to read off the pin code on the front of the card and once I read about half of it to her, she interrupted me and said "that's okay, I know which one you're talking about". No other questions asked, so I assume the pin code is attached to either my address or phone number.

Hope that helps! :)

I hope Disney let's you use this, maybe it's from a higher power up above  a blessing for your family to be able to take a special trip :grouphug:

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies and the warm sentiments. My mom loved Disney as much as I do. She just loved to see my DD enjoying the parks. She was with us on my DD's first trip when my DD was just barely able to walk and she came with us almost every trip after that. She even came on our first Disney cruise. My parents are to blame for my Disney addiction. As kids, they tooks us there every year from the time WDW opened.
Once I finalize my dates I will call and see if they will honor the postcard.

Thanks again!
Ellen
