Hi everyone!

I just had to share my excitement with all of you......Just got airfare for 2 adults for a non stop flight, (departing & returning flight), for $663!! (From Denver, CO to MCO)

For the past 3 months, the flight we wanted had been flucuating in price from $783 to $793. So imagine my surprise when I checked Expedia & Frontier Airlines and found that the airfare had decreased $130!

Since we have to fly non stop due to my fiancee' getting motion sick on flights, this is a great deal for us!!

Congrats, Diznee25!

Airfare out of Denver is the pits isn't it. Makes you feel great when you happen to catch a break.

We bought our tickets back in May for this September trip. There happened to be a one day sale the same day Fairytale package came out for Disney Club members. So we grabbed both. My DM qualifies for senior fares and they give 1 companion the same. So it was really a great deal. Immediately after, fares have gone up and continued.

When are you going? Our travel days are 9/1-8 (frontier)

Sharon,

Yes, airfare out of Denver seems to be so expensive! Last year the cheapest we could find for July 2002, was $580 for two adults. We purchased those tickets about 6 weeks prior to leaving. (Going to Orlando.) That wasn't a non stop flight though.

Wow, you're trip is coming up soon! We are going out Dec. 14-27. Also flying Frontier.

Hope you have a great trip :)

We just got back yesterday and I booked our flights 2 weeks out (I kept waiting on a "deal") and got the Frontier non-stops for $314 on Cheap Tickets. I was pretty happy with that! I am sick of these high fares, though.

By pure luck, last minute airfares came out mid week for us.
We weren't planning a trip, but everything fell into place.
Get this --
from the midwest to MCO $127 RT pp. :D :bounce: (Short layover)
And the topper was I had a discount card for a deluxe starting at $109 a night! :Pinkbounc
The S/D was offering a Labor Day special at $99 night. And I was set to book, but the special rate started the day after our arrival. Oh well. I am sure we can suffer ;) with WL just fine. :bounce:

We just bought our airfare last week and had to resort to Priceline. We didn't get bad flight times (flying US Air) but would have preferred non stop like we had last year with United !! We got them for $187 per person - I will take the lay over to save money anyday !!:Pinkbounc

Lori, that's a great fare! If it were just DD and I, wouldn't mind the layover or connection but traveling w/DM. She doesn't move fast or far anymore it seems.

At least Frontier will still do a sr. discount on top of any reduced fare so we got 2 tickets at 250 and one for 276.

I've found you really have to check prices daily until you find one you can live with--or can't live without.

Have a great trip! We'll leaving just a few days earlier than you. Am looking forward to low crowds but am not looking forward to the heat!
