We got a great deal on our room at the Poly :lovestruc ... but I couldn't book it as a package. So we are now looking for a 10 day parkhopper (with waterpark option).

Need to know:
  1. If we don't purchase our tickets through Disney, but stay on Disney property, can we still get in early/stay late for Magic Hours?
  2. Any good deals out there for consolidators?
  3. What do these tickets look like... does anyone know?
  4. So If I buy one will I then have two cards: one for the hotel and one for the park?
Thanks so much! :goodvibes

Getting into the Extra Magic Hours is based on being a Disney resort guest, so your room card will be sufficient to get the wrist band.

If you buy your tickets separately, they will be paper tickets. When you check into the Poly, they can transfer them right onto your room card so that you only have 1 card. We bought ours at Disney Store 1 year, and it was no problem at all for them to add our park passes right onto our room cards.

I don't know about which consolidators have the good deals. Someone else may be able to help with that.

No matter how you purchase them, as long as you are staying at a Disney Resort, you will get all of the "privileges" that go along with that, which includes the EMH.

Hope this helps.:teacher:

Please share. What's your deal for June and how oh how did you get it??

How in the world did you get a June deal????? Anyway you may want to check into purchasing an AP if you plan to be back in WDW with a year....

Thanks for the info. I should have explained... I'm an outside agent for a Travel Agency (have been doing it for years) and was able to get a Travel Agent rate. It saved a lot of money. But now I have to piece everything together... and I was looking forward to having everything in one nice neat package (including dining!).

Thanks again, I wasn't sure how this all worked when you reservation was room only. The last time I visited we had a hote/ticket/dining package. :yay:

I know what you mean. I like to have it all wrapped up in a package too. It's a lot easier that way, especially with the dining. At least you can get your park tickets combined with your room card. That will help. It will all work out just fine when you get there. Have fun!:flower3:

Dining would have to be through a WDTC package.
Of course if you go the AP route, you can pay extra for the DDE membership card.
