I'm posting this restaurants, too, to try to see if anybody else knows why I got it.

We just did a long weekend in an ASM Family Suite with an AP discount. When we checked in, the CM said we had an envelope. I assumed it was our MNSSHP tix but it was a $20 Disney Dining Card. The accompanying document just described the card and it had my name but it did not say who it was from or why it was given to me. My name was on the ASM ressie, not DH's, and my name was on this card. I had a "room only" ressie.

I asked Guest Services about it and they only knew that it had value but did not know why we had it.

We are DVC members and rarely use cash ressies and this is only the second time we have been at ASM. I am a Disney Mom reject but I really don't think that was the reason for the card.

We happily used it, though!

Does anybody have any ideas here?!?!?!

If you booked via the AP rate there was a promotion a while ago that gave you a free dining card. I booked this way and will have a dining card when I arrive on Friday (Yippee). You probably booked the package and didn't even realize it. Enjoy!

Yes, if you booked either AP rate or with one of the codes released in August for arriving on certain dates it should have been automatically attached to your reservation.

Guess you enjoyed your surprise!

And TJ - Have a super solo trip! I did one several years back and it was great!!!!
