Got 2 pin codes

Today in the mail I got a pin code discount from Disney. Then tonight in my email I got ANOTHER pin code discount! Is that weird or what? I just booked a vacation at the POLY for Nov/Dec. But it looks like the codes are for April/May. Can I try to use them for my vacation? Is this normal to have them send you these codes after you book a vacation with them? Or is this just luck for me. I have been signed up with Walt Disney web site for years and get email from them all the time. But now that I know about codes I am paying more attention to my email. Well anyway how interesting.

Can you tell me what I should be looking for in the mail, or email. What does the disney email look like that includes the pin code, and the snail mail? I get tons of mail from disney also, but want to know what exactly i should be looking for. TIA

Codes you receive can be used towards your vacation, as long as the booking and traveling dates match your needs and whatever resort criteria you have is available. I would guess your current res would be cancelled and then rebooked under the code.

That is nice, I got a code but it wasn't good for May but was good for Spetember/ October. we reaally wanted to go in May but check in dates were for May 27-31. We needed May23,24, or 25-31 but oh well. Now I have to wait until October .
