Gospel Choir

Hi, We would like to see a Gospel Choir when we're over (in less than 10 weeks! )
We're not religious by any means, so don't want to go to a church to see one. I did hear that one played DTD somtimes. Can anyone back this up or recommend where to go see one?

Do you mean the Gospel Brunch at House of Blues in DTD? It is supposed to be fantastic (even to non-religious people) although I haven't been myself yet. HTH.

We went to the Gospel Brunch some years ago and it was definately a worthwhile experience.

I don't think you have to be particularly religious to enjoy the music, the enthusiasm and belief of each of the performers. We are going to WDW in November and will try and fit in another visit.

We did the Gospal brunch two years ago and have booked it for this year as well.
The food was excellent, buffet style but masses to choose from. the kids particularly enjoyed it. You can get up and get as much as you want and go back for more.
We are not religious in fact to be honest we are both atheists but the atmosphere was great and we joined in with the clapping. You can get as involved as you want, just watch or stand up and clap.
Would recommend to anyone

Just remember to dress appropriately. i wore a skirt and top the men wore neat shorts and a short sleeved shirt. kids wore anything.

Have a great time if you decide to do it and dont eat too much breakfast.

I booked the House of Blues Gospel Brunch a few years ago for my parents and they loved it. So much so, they'd definately go back on their next trip and both my DD and I will probably go with them.


BTW stoneyloon - going by your Dis name, I think you're just a bit doon the coast from us - we're in the tropics of PD - the other side of the 'dein!

All this talking about the Gospel Brunch really put us in the mood to go again.....so last night we called and made a reservation for our November trip.
