GoPro Hero 7 Black - used for Port Adventures

Has anyone used this camera on any of the Port Adventures i.e. snorkeling, jet skis at CC etc? We have an older GoPro, but are thinking about upgrading for our cruise.

We have an older GoPro and I have used it snorkeling at CC every single time we go. Love it! Wish it was fancier, but it gets the job done!

We upgraded ours to the 7 for our cruise to Alaska last month when they had a $100 discount. It took some of my favorite footage of the trip, including when we went biking, dog sledding, and in the pool. Nice wide angle. The battery wears down quickly though and I wish I had brought a backup.

The Hero 5 has worked well for us. The 6 didn't seem worth an upgrade, and I haven't really looked at the 7. What is your current model?

We have the hero plus. The audio is pretty muffled on it and it will stop recording videos at random moments. I watched a video of a gentleman on CC riding jet skis and he took his go pro and it looked like he used the floating handheld device accessory during the port adventure on the jet ski. Curious if any one else has done this or heard it’s okay to do! Thank you to everybody!
