GoPro Camera at the World

Adorable video!!
What software to you use to edit?
I used iMovie. It's pretty simple. I sorted through my clips throughout the trip and actually did my editing in the car on the drive back. There are some things I'll do differently on my next video. Already planning for 2 kids and a gopro Disneyland edition =)

Ok that video is so cute.
Can you guys recommend wich one of the cameras would be good for a 14 year old?
I'd like that to be his surprise for our surprise trip. I think he'd appreciate it more than a stuffed animal lol

The gopro is great for kids, it has a fixed lens so you don't have to worry about zooming/focus & a fish eye lens so it captures everything - it also shoots video & photo. They have released a model in October 14' called gopro Hero which I think is around $130. It comes with a waterproof housing so he can use it on water rides and not worry. It's a great little camera & lots of fun & has alot of different available accessories.

Ok so I'm sold on it and I see it's about $150 with the dryer bundle. But I have some questions.
1 if I get one for us(the adults) to use how many memory cards should I get for a 2 week trip at disney?
Or can I do like I did with my dale and just upload my videos every night into my laptop?
2. What's the standard battery life? Trying to figure out how many extra ones to purchase so they last me all day.

I think extra batteries are def a must with the gopro. I have had mine since 2013 (1st trip to disney using it) and have purchased loads of different accessories (no pole yet though). The accessories I couldn't do without are the lcd touch screen, water proof case, extra batteries, a charger that charges 2 batteries at a time, a clip mount (which I can clip to my shirt - it rotates too - great for indoor rides & walking around the park), a wrist mount strap, a skeleton frame mount (which is black & fits around the gopro & has a mount) & a lens cap.

Most of the mounts, clips, etc I purchased from Ebay with many less than $5 each (inc shipping), the lcd screen was the most expensive accessory I bought - but totally worth it. I could do without the double battery charger or the lens cap.

1. I have 2x 16gb & 1 x 32gb which is enough for my 2 week vacation (make sure you buy class 10 microsd's - class4 will not work)
2. It depends if you have the lcd screen (which eats up the battery). Again battery use really depends on camera use. Will you be using for stills or video's. I tend to put one in the camera & take 2-3 spares with me in the day - I record a lot of rides/shows (video's) & take perhaps 30-50 pictures during an average day and have used up between 2-3 batteries in a 12 hour visit to the park. It totally depends on what you'll use it for though.

Probably about the same as you did. I'll have my dslr camera as well but the go pro I want for shows, parades, ect mostly, some pics as well.
