hi can I used my go pro cam in the aqua dunk I saw a couple of videos on youtube and they have a devise to put the cam in. did I have to pay for it. any info or tips that you have?
They tell you no cameras allowed in order to prevent possible damage to the aquaduck. However, as you can tell from youtube, people hide their cameras until they are on the ride. I seriously doubt they would let you use a go pro that is harnessed to you somehow.

I'm not sure about the AquaDunk on the Magic but I was able to use my GoPro on the AquaDuck on the Fantasy in 2012. I had the wrist strap on mine and when we were at the top ready to go, the CM mentioned to me that using the wrist strap was the only approved way of using it on the ride.
I don't know if things have changed from then to now but I used it multiple times during that trip and had no issues.
Don't know about the aquadunk but on the Aquaduck you can definitely use a GoPro if it's strapped on. I have a head strap and used my Contour camera several times with many different staff and nobody said a word about it and it was never hidden from view. Have several videos of the kids and plan to do again.

Ditto this. My brother confirmed that if the camera is mounted or harnessed to you you'll be fine (this means, wrist strap [although I'd think it's more ymmv with this], headstrap, or chest strap). He snuck his on the first time and I snuck mine on as well the second time and got away with hand-holding it (first time I had it out in plain sight and they wouldn't let me go). Found out about the harness/mount being okay after the fact the second time. I think it's a liability thing where they want all riders to grasp both handles the entire time.
On the Fantasy in Jan I saw someone with a gopro strapped to his chest and they didn't say a word. The same people made a lady with a camera with a strap around her wrist put it away. She had to walk the whole way down from the top to put it away.

Yep, if it's secured to your body or head they won't say anything. That's why I feel like even with the wrist strap, it may vary from lifeguard to lifeguard. And they'll definitely send you back with a loose wrist strap. I had one with my initial GoPro/Floater setup and she refused to let me go up.
