Hello...I'm headed to San Diego this weekend, and we are making a side trip to DL the middle of next week.
We're staying at the DL hotel for couple of nights. I've made some PS for Goofy's Kitchen and the Blue Bayou. Have heard good things about both, but I had a question or two about Goofy's Kitchen.
Last December we went to WDW and ate at Chef Mickey's. DS (2 1/2) loved it. Dance with the napkin, interacted with the characters, but DH and I were not impressed by the food. Most other people love CM, so not sure if we caught them on a bad night or if we had just had too much magic that day and were tired.
Anyway, I really want to take DS to Goofy's so he can see the characters, but we'll be with my father and step-mother this time. That is a lot of money to pay for a buffet if the quality of food is not any better than at CM. To make life even more interesting, my step-mother is a vegetarian (no meat, but will eat eggs an dairy).
Does anyone have more specifics as to what is on the menu other than the "buffet" I saw on one of the websites? How does the food compare to CM? Any other suggestions for a better meal at the hotels, DTD or in the surrounding area?
Thanks,
