Can you pre purchase these for dinner - or do you just call Disney Dining, make your reservation and pay when you get there?

Also, can we make reservations for 7pm, or are they closed early?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Just call the dining # and make a reservation. Paying in advance involves vouchers which are non-refundable - and not much of a savings either - which still require a reservation.

A 7PM seating should be possible. Good luck!

Sorry, but I disagree. I think the real savings buying in advance through AAA or GAT is the tax (7.75%) and gratuity (18%) are included.

I know, it's a little tricky:

Under 'Vacation Package', click on 'Tickets'. Then with 'Disneyland Resort' selected (it's the default), change 'Type' from 'Attraction' to 'Dining'.

You can also call. The customer service at GAT is great!

Thanks, that worked...tricky though, lol.

The savings are only $2.16 per adult and $0.84 per child...so the total savings is only $6.00?

With your "purchase price" at Disney, does that include gratuity too? Or is my savings actually $6.00 PLUS savings of gratuity...:confused3

And does GAT mail your tickets or do you claim them at Disney like your park hopper passes? I have about 2 weeks before I go, so I'd be nervous about receiving them by mail.

And I agree, GAT customer service is SUPER!

Yes, the savings isn't all that much at first sight. But, the price at GAT and AAA includes gratuity and tax. The price at DL is the flat price, plus they tack on gratuity and tax. So, the real savings is tip and tax.

You pick up the tickets at DL. They don't mail them to you.

Sweet! Thank you so much for your help, I'm on my way to the GAT website to buy them!

You've been SUPER helpful :thumbsup2

Really?? Wow, we are paying about $35 per adult with GAT for September. I thought that was pretty high for a buffet dinner...had no idea it got more expensive.
I'm going to call Disney Dining today to make my reservation :cool1:

This thread has been very helpful to me too as I may be booking a character meal this fall. Thanks!
