Hi All,

I am wondering if those of you who have eaten at Goofy's Kitchen can help me.

I have family coming in from out of town and they would like to eat at Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast. We cannot get a PS for 6 people at the time needed, but we can get a 4 and a 2. I have booked it as such.

What I am wondering is...
Once we get there, are they relatively flexible about seating parties near each other? I understand they may not have a table that seats 6, but does anyone have any experience with getting tables together? Thanks for any input.

I will be interested to hear what people's experiences have been. I know PHXScuba is planning on going to GK in October with a very large group of people, so that will be very informative and educational to see how the GK staff sets them up!

I have never had to get a table for 6 people at Goofy's, though I know they have a few booths around the restaurant here and there which can accommodate that many. On our last visit to GK, we were sitting directly across from a booth/corner table that must have had 8 people in it. And right next to that booth were tables that could easily handle 2 or 4 people each, so I would hope they could put some of your group at one table and some of your group at a table right next to it. You may even get lucky and be able to get into a booth/table where all 6 people can sit once you all arrive, depending on what the crowds are like that morning.

What time did you make the PS for?

We have eaten at Goofy's Kitchen many times and NORMALLY they are very accomadating. They did once break our party apart. We went for Thanksgiving and requested a table for 12, when we arrived they had half of us inside and the other half on the patio!! After working with the manager they were able to seat us together at 2 tables back to back it just took a little longer to get in. You can also try calling again to see if anything comes up between now and the time of your trip.

Have fun...the kids always want to eat here!!

We have had a broken PS at Blue Bayou and we just told them when we arrived that we were all together. We waited a little longer and they were able to seat all 10 of us together. I would not sweat it just get there a little early and let them know what is going on.

I would make sure it's noted on your PS that you are all together, that way they can hopefully plan to put you next to each other. :)

Thanks, all. Our PSs are for 8am. Does being so early maybe help? :). I tried to have it noted in the system that we are together. She said she could not do so. - shrug -

Call back again they should be able to note it and also check to see if a ps for 6 is available. It happens a lot that I am able to get a ps as the time gets closer.

Thanks. I keep calling. I think they know my voice now. haha! They keep telling me, though, that they cannot note anything in the system connecting 2 PSs. :confused3

- fingers crossed - for last minute opening for 6.

Im not saying you should do this, but...you could try for a party of 8 and then tell them 2 decided not to join you when you arrive for your table.

I have heard of people (mostly on teh DW boards) doing this. The theory is there are only X amount of tables for 4, X amounts of tables for 6, X amounts for table of 8 etc etc. So when all table for 6 are gone you are going to get a "sorry all tables taken " response, but there may be a table for 8 available
