DD is wondering if there is a candy store similar to Goofy's at DLR. She  having a treat made especially for her. Thanks :goodvibes

I, too and a WDW Veteran that loves Goofys! I think I read that there is a candy store similar ... Marceline's or something like that. Looking forward to checking it out!

Is Marceline's located in DTD? Are there other "treat" stores besides Pooh Corner (where we'll be getting a Tigger tail and a carmel apple) and Marceline's?

I think it is ... I haven't actually been to DLR yet (leaving in 8 days!) so I am only relaying what I had read. Can't wait to be able to report 1st hand knowledge! :cool1:

I don't think I've seen anything at DLR where you can make your own candy. It sounds awesome though, they should definitely transfer that idea to the west coast!

I had never heard of this until last night when watching the Disney Delights special on Food Network. To my knowledge there is no place like that in DLR. DL does have Pooh's Corner where you can buy candies and treats, and the kids can make their own sugar candy concoctions. There is also a candy store on Main Street, but I can't remember the name, and Marcheline's in DTD. None of those have the same custom candy making experience as Goofy's in WDW.

Bummer. :(
Thanks for the replies.

Isn't there a Geppettos candy shop in FL between Pinocchio and Village Haus? I thought I saw a sign last month but didn't check it out with my group of 20 in tow!

There isn't a candy store like Goofy's at DLR. :sad1:

There are several candy stores that sell delicious treats though. As PP have stated, there is Pooh's Corner, Main St. Bakery, and Marceline. There is also a candy store near Gepetto's, but all they sell is prepackaged goodies, such as chocolate covered peanuts, sour gummy worm-type stuff, etc. The other 3 stores sell more freshly treats (Marceline's having the best fudge selection IMHO). :thumbsup2

Thanks for all of the replies, I guess we'll have to make due with Tigger Tails, fudge, carmel apples, dole whips, Mickey ice cream, etc. Too bad there aren't many snack choices :rotfl2:
