Some miscellaneous thoughts..
I bought SO much stuff: a tote bag, t shirts, pins, a silver mickey charm, candy, ornaments, key chain, and one of my favorite things: Minnie Mouse ears (headband). I looked cute plus it kept the hair out of my face. Bob bought a carry on duffel bag and a sweatshirt and a "Walt and Mickey" limited edition watch. Why is it that we want to buy everything in site at Disney? I defy anyone to come home with nothing bought!
I also bought an antenna top for my mom. When I got home, I put it on her car antenna while she wasnt looking. She finally noticed 2 days after! LOL
Bob bought me the most beautiful snowglobe for Xmas. We had it shipped home. Its of Epcot, the Spaceship Earth lights up and it plays "Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand", it came out a year or 2 ago and I loved it then. Casey is the CM in Mouse Gears who arranged the shipping. I posted about him on the Just Say Thanks Board.
I got one of those light up 100 Years of Magic Pins. These are the pins that light up spontaneously while you wear them in the parks. I wont say where they light up, but they light up on many attractions. I'll let you be surprised.
Characters that I got photos with: Cinderella, Mickey, Goofy and Aladdin. Thats SO much fun, posing with them! I always happened to be in the right place when the characters showed up, I wasnt even seeking them out! I took SO many pictures. Could Dan Murphy be influencing me? LOL
We also managed to fit in Downtown Disney, and we ate at Rainforest Cafe. We had a RFC here in Philly, but it closed. It was nice to visit one again.
The only downside to my WDW trip is that I didnt meet any DISers there, I didnt see one lime green ribbon. I wore mine at all times. Also , there was a lot of rain, but I still had fun. I also didnt know that the Journey into your Imagination ride was closed and that disappointed me. WDW is still clean, but I remember CMs constantly being in the bathrooms cleaning when I was there a few yrs ago. This time, I saw them in there only once the whole time I was there. I guess layoffs affected this.
But Disney is still MAGICAL...dont get me wrong!!
If I have anything else that comes to mind...I'll post it
