Goofy pool--how deep?

Just wondering if it will be over my DD6 head.

The pool is 4ft deep. Here is my DD (10) in the goofy pool to give you an idea of how deep it is.

When we first boarded the ship, we had a quick lunch and then headed straight for the pools. We had our swimsuits in our hand luggage, so that really helped to speed things up. My DD and DS actually got to SWIM laps in the pool-pretty cool
Here is DS at the pool 2 days later-not so empty then

We went in mid sept. and the Goofy pool was not always full.
It did get very full during a Mickey pool "brown-out".

How's this for an empty Goofy Pool?

This was taken early in the morning on the morning that we were in St. Thomas.

LOL ... I knew there was (supposedly) a picture of goofy on the bottom, but I had never actually seen it.

That is deffinately an odd sight to see no one in that pool! Everytime my daughter was anywhere near it there seemed to be a sea of kids!

One of the advantages of staying onboard on a port day!!!!!

Here is another picture of myself and DD11 taken a few moments after the first one was taken ... we had the whole goofy pool area to ourselves.

You are deffinately right about that. We went off for about 2 hrs and then came back. We had a wonderful time with the ship being practically empty!

How empty is the ship on a Nassau port day? I'd love to see the Goofy pool empty, but I have a feeling more people stay on the ship in Nassau than at other ports.

When we went in August there were only a few people on board on that deck. As the day progressed more people came back on board. Nassau for us was'nt anything special. We did a little shopping and really were'nt interested in paying to go to a hotel. For us it was wonderful having the ship so quiet and being able to enjoy ourselves that way.

I'm so excited to read that staying on board has "perks" like a nearly empty Goofy pool! I was torn on whether I should try to find an excursion in Nassau for DD and me. Nothing I saw looked particularly interesting so I've been leaning toward staying on board.

We love staying onboard on port days, the last two years we have picked one port day to just stay onboard and enjoy the ship with fewer passengers. This year we picked St. Thomas day .... we had a blast, and got tons of pictures onboard without tons of people in the background.

To OP: My 6 year old could stand on her tippy-toes in the pool but I had to be in there with her. She's about 46" tall.

I didn't know there was a picture of Goofy in the pool either. Even on our Nassau Day the pool was busy--not crowded but busy.
