Goodings delivery vs. wegoshop

Hello all! I would like to purchase bottled water and a few breakfast foods to be delivered to my resort room. Last time we were there we used Goodings delivery. They have a $50 minimum order and a $10 service/delivery charge. But there were 12 of us going and we had adjoining rooms. This time there are only six so I am worried about the $50 minimum, especially because we have the free dining plan. So, for those of you who have used wegoshop or another delivery service, is there a better option than Goodings? Meaning, one that doesn't have a minimum order and a comparable service/delivery charge? Let me know who you've used and your satisfaction with them. Thanks!

We used wegoshop.com I forgot what the delivery charge was, but it wasn't very much. Their service was great, and they will shop at any market you request. :flower:

I've used www.netgrocer.com for my last few trips. There is no processing fee and the shipping charge is based on how much you spend (up to $25 is around $6, from 26 to 49.00 is $10, the delivery charge increases by $2 for each increment of $25 spent).

It works pretty well for me and they have a full selection of groceries.

Hey, netgrocer looks like a good deal. I'll have to check out their prices but thanks for the tip!

I just checked out Netgrocer and they want $5.49 for a box of Cheerio's???!!! No way!! I pay $2.78 for the big box of Cheerio's here.

Hi, for anyone who has used the wego do they deliver to your room even if you are not there or maybe it isn't even assigned. I'm having trouble figuring this all out. Do you have it delivered later in the day or the day after you check in? Has anyone used this and can help with general info and whether the were ahppy with them. Thank you. :earsgirl:

Hi- we used them in December. They try to schedule it for when you arrive at your hotel. They can make arrangements to leave it at the desk, but if you have items that need to be refrig. I dont think this would be good. I was very happy with their service and selections. Very reasonable delivery charge and food was not overpriced.

I would also use wegoshop, I have heard that goodings is very expensive....and wegoshop will take coupons.

Wego charges a $20 shop and delivery charge plus a $2 fuel surcharge and an additional 3% surcharge if you're paying by credit card. For me, that's a little excessive for a small order.

I guess you'll have to do some comparitive shopping and see which option works best for you. My order is usually limited to bottled water, cereal, snacks and such (no perishibles) and my package is kept at the front desk until I check in.

Good luck to you!
