They sell Reeses Pieces in my local Morrisons x

Seriously?

There is a Morrisons 10 minutes away! I am sorely tempted to jump in the car right now to go see!

:woohoo::woohoo: go kate:thumbsup2

goodluck with your pgce interview? what are you hoping to teach? i teach DT and luke teachers MFL, and personally i use the world teach in the loosest sense:rotfl:

The place was filthy, lots of prices missing on items, the items with prices were very expensive (I mean the crisps cost MORE than in the Disney owned store at Contemporary for exactly the same bag!).

I swore never to go back in again. I hope they sell out, and a big brand goes in. I don't care if it is a bit more expensive if it is convenient, and has the stuff Orlando visitors need!

I agree completely. In the past we'd popped in there once or twice when desperate (our early trips we did without a car so was convenient) and it wasn't great then and silly expensive - it was at least bearable.

Last trip we just popped in because the other half was desperate for some Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper (ewww!) and Walmart seemed to have stopped stocking it so we checked there on the off chance.

It just felt very grubby and we were virtually the only people in there apart from the staff which says a lot considering the size of the place - no Dr Pepper and so we couldn't leave fast enough. Can't say I'm surprised to see it going based on that.

Sad news - going to Goodings on the first day to stock up was laways one of our Florida traditions.

I never found it filthy or empty tbh.

As Wishspirit (my DD!) has already said, we were really disappointed with it on our last trip in September 09. It was sad to see that it was a shadow of its former self. :sad2:

Thanks :goodvibes

I am hoping to teach Primary! I know, crazy right!?!

well, i wouldnt teach rugrats:rotfl:, but luckily most of my friends teach primary and cant understand why i teach k3,4,5, so each to their own;)
as i posted on a different thread, i wish you loads of luck, working with asd/sen kids is hard work, and if you can do that now, you can do anything:lovestruc
listen- do what i do, when you are stuck in class, tell them some amazing fact about wdw, i seriously do this and the kids love it , it always makes them smile, because all of a sudden i become "human".
at my old school i had a class that had to see a food from wdw as a starter in each lesson, it was a very poor area, kids had a very ltd upbringing, and they loved (yr10) seeing the pictures, what it was, what it tasted like and what country it came from, some when home and tried things they had seen in this images (coucous, asparagus etc)
i was observed teaching this class, with my disney food, the observer thought it was great i did that, the kids were excited and animated at the start!!:cloud9::cloud9:
what makes a good teacher is originality! and hey im original:laughing:

if you need anything more than basics i would suggest using wegoshop.com, thet were amazing 2 years ago, they were on time, the lady chatted with my kids, and she even put the toiletteries in the bathroom and unwrapped nad then fridged the perishables.
totally worth the delivery charge

yup seriously lol x

I went a couple of days ago to test out this theory.

Not only did they have Reeses Pieces (for the incredibly reasonable 29p a packet!), but also Nutragious bars! (I tried one Luke and thought it was delicious!)

I am going back for more tomorrow! Thanks for the advice! :thumbsup2
