well, i wouldnt teach rugrats

, but luckily most of my friends teach primary and cant understand why i teach k3,4,5, so each to their own

as i posted on a different thread, i wish you loads of luck, working with asd/sen kids is hard work, and if you can do that now, you can do anything

listen- do what i do, when you are stuck in class, tell them some amazing fact about wdw, i seriously do this and the kids love it , it always makes them smile, because all of a sudden i become "human".
at my old school i had a class that had to see a food from wdw as a starter in each lesson, it was a very poor area, kids had a very ltd upbringing, and they loved (yr10) seeing the pictures, what it was, what it tasted like and what country it came from, some when home and tried things they had seen in this images (coucous, asparagus etc)
i was observed teaching this class, with my disney food, the observer thought it was great i did that, the kids were excited and animated at the start!!

what makes a good teacher is originality! and hey im original
