We have a few couples that we want to get some little something for Christmas- But I have no clue on what to get them- Any suggestions would be great. But I am not looking to spend alot of $$.

Thanks in advance.

As part of a couple, I can say that one of the gifts I enjoy receiving the most is something we can do together.

This could be a gift certificate for dinner, theatre tickets, or something that you know they would enjoy together.

How about a gift certificate to Blockbusters or Barnes & Noble? We love to rent/buy DVD's and these are places that should have something for everybody. My brother usually gives me a Blockbuster card for my birthday and we enjoy it.

Do they have any hobbies they share as a couple, or interested in doing together?

Restaurant gift certificates are always good. You could also make a basket with some wine, a book of romantic poetry, and some goodies

Gift certificates to a restaurant, preferably one of their favorites if you know it. And if they have children, a night of babysitting while they use the GC, could go along with it

There is usually a kiosk in our mall that sells personalized ornaments with the year on them. We've gotten these for several people in the past. We make sure that we not only put the human's names on them, but the pets' names, too.

We also give wine as gifts. If a friend of mine gets a bottle of wine from us, they know that I've done my homework on it and have paired the wine to their known likes. Of course, it also helps if the recipient is also an oenophile, or even a wanna-be oenophile (lover of wines.)

Holiday-themed serving bowls or platters or candle sticks are also easy and nice things to give a couple, or even a set of those fancy swirly candles to put in the candlesticks they already have.

Now, if my DH's cousin, Carmen, and his wife are friends with you... his and hers harley t-shirts are always appreciated, especially if you go online and buy them from a dealer in another state.

I like to make gift baskets for couples. The main part of the gift basket is usually a gift certificate to someplace I think the couple would both enjoy and then little foodstuff for them. This year my dh has tried his hand at cheese-making so some folks will be getting some of that in their baskets (if it appears to have turned out ok, lol. It's dh's first stab at it and he's being trying lots of recipes but since it has to age for so long we haven't really been able to sample much of it yet)
