With thanks and prayers to all the brave soldiers and families for the sacrifice they make daily so we may remain free.

Along with many other military families on this board, our only son will be deployed to Iraq very soon. I pray his and all soldiers guardian angels light their every step of the way and keep them safe.

Let us pray for world peace.

It's been really hard these last two weeks. The town my DS is in is where a lot of the "action" is going on. I will not watch the news, but I do get on and google every few hours just to see how things are going. Please remember them in your prayers...

A large convoy of National Guard left my county just this morning. They are a heavy armored vechicle division. They were over ninety tanks, hummers, etc. that pulled out at 6:30 this morning with 100 % of the National Guard from here leaving. They are going to Mississippi for six weeks, California for six more, and then to Iraq for eighteen months. Many, many prayers being said for these as they leave.
