My DD just turned 7. She loves Mario Kart! She also plays some Hannah Montana game a lot. Other than that, Wii sports - bowling, tennis, golf. She just rec'd Wii Resort for her b-day, but we haven't played yet.

She used to play Raving Rabbits or however you spell it. She hasn't played that one in awhile.

I would say Mario Kart if you don't have it!

My DDs (8 & 5) both LOVE Wii Ski. They can pick the outfits, and ski together even. They try to get on the ski lift together. Its a fun game.

My DD has a Hannah Montana game for Wii that she really enjoys ("Spotlight World Tour"). And then both of my DDs love "Sing-It" -- it's like karaoke with Disney teen star songs.

Animal Crossing is reaaly great for kids. It's family-friendly and it could probably help with her reading skills. The game is largely text-based.
