Good surfing school close to DLR for DH while I do Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour?

DH and I will be staying at BWPPI April 24-28. On our third and last day at DLR (April 27) I booked a Walk in Walt's Footstep tour at 9:30am and DH wants to take surfing lessons while I am on that tour. We will have a rental car so he can easily access any beach. Any suggestion for a good surfing school in the area? The best scenario would be that he enters DL with me at rope drop (8am) so he can activates his MaxPass then he will leave for the beach when my tour starts and returns for our 6pm Blue Bayou F! reservation. That way I can book us FP for late afternoon, early evening.
